When we are closedtelephone_brown

For primary care GPs and nurses call 111. This out-of-hours service is staffed by local GPs and nurses. This service together with our own service give you and your family access to a GP for urgent problems 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Walk-in Centre

The Walk-in Centre in Monkgate has closed and reopened as part of the urgent care centre at York Hospital located in the emergency department.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

For minor injuries you can go either to Selby Hospital or to York Hospital.
