Welfare Checks

The practice is unable to undertake welfare checks on behalf of third parties who have concerns about patients due to being unable to make contact with them.

If a third party has concerns about the welfare of an uncontactable patient, it is their responsibility to act on any potential risk and not ask the GP to take on this responsibility.

This may include contacting the police, social services or ambulance service as appropriate
